Today we spotlight Nicole, Steadily's knowledgable and enthusiastic CX Customer Support Specialist Lead.
What is your role at Steadily, and what are your primary responsibilities?
CX Customer Support Specialist Team Lead, I assist customer's with their needs, and help colleague with their questions. Really I like to pretend that i'm just here for the entertainment.
Can you describe a typical day in your role and what you find most rewarding about it?
My day starts fairly early, as i'm one of the first in the office. I use this time to do my follow-ups and prepare for the morning rush. Between calls, emails and coworker's questions, my day goes by pretty fast.
What do you think is unique about working at Steadily that others who are interviewing should know?
Even as Steadily continues to grow, we're a start up at the core. There's always a way to improve things and leadership loves to talk about it. No matter you position, your role is integral to all parts that make Steadily work.
Can you share a memorable experience, accomplishment or challenge that you overcame during your time at Steadily?
Coming in to Steadily with no insurance back ground I was nervous about doing well. When I tossed my hat in the ring to be considered for a promotion, I was nervous as I didn't think I would get it. When it was revealed that I was chosen for the role, I was informed that the leadership team could see my growth within the team and was excited to how well I was going. It was such a reaffirming moment for me.
How does your work at Steadily align with your personal or professional values?
Steadily has shown me that change doesn't have to be scary, and can actually be fun. I've started looking at things in my life, personally and professionally, and making plans on how to improve or get rid of things that no longer fit.
Steadily provides a fun atmosphere full of laughter and friendships. So many people, in leadership or colleagues in other departments, know and ask about my husband, our travels, and our pets. It's nice feeling important and welcomed.
